Dual
Diagnosis: Individuals with Developmental Disabilities and Mental
Health Needs :
Families with loved ones
who are dually diagnosed with developmental disabilities and mental
health needs have many questions about the characteristics of dual
diagnosis and behavioral crisis. A Handbook for families has been
developed by Donna Icovino, a parent,advocate and Co-Chair of
Commissioner's Task Force on Dual Diagnosis, and Lucy Escralew,
Ph.D., Program Director for Statewide Clinical Consultation and
Training (SCCAT) of Trinitas Regional Medical Center and member of
the N.J. Department of Human Services Dual Diagnosis Task Force.
